Return and Refund Policy
At Treasure Tales, we sell exclusive drops of collectibles. Due to the nature of our products, please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Under French and EU law, you have 14 days from the delivery date to exercise your right of withdrawal and return an item without providing a reason. However, due to the high-value nature of our collectibles, this right is strictly subject to the integrity of our security seals (see below). Return shipping costs for a change of mind are the responsibility of the buyer.
- Single Cards & Graded Cards: All single cards and graded cards are sealed with our tamper-evident security seal and shipped in a transparent protective case, allowing full visual inspection of the card without removing the seal. If you exercise your 14-day right of return, your refund will be strictly refused if the security seal has been removed, damaged, or tampered with in any way, as the item is considered depreciated and its authenticity compromised.
- Sealed Products: Booster boxes, booster packs, and any factory-sealed items fall under the exception to the right of withdrawal provided by Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, as these goods may be deteriorated after unsealing. No returns or exchanges are accepted once the original factory seal has been opened or tampered with.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
In addition to your standard 14-day return right, if your return is strictly due to our error (wrong item received) or if the item arrived visibly damaged during transit, we will issue a full refund and cover the return shipping costs in the following conditions:
- You received the wrong item (not the card described or shown)
- Your item arrived visibly damaged due to transit
To report an issue, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@treasuretales.shop with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the outer packaging showing the condition upon receipt
- Photos of the security seal showing its condition upon receipt
- Photos of the item itself
Any issue reported after 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date will not be eligible for a return or refund.
We will review your case and respond within 2 business days.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the condition of the item as described and photographed on the product page. Subjective dissatisfaction with the condition (e.g. 'scratches more visible than expected') does not constitute grounds for a return.
Video Evidence Policy
To protect both our customers and our business, Treasure Tales applies the following procedures:
- Outgoing shipments: The preparation of all orders is recorded on video, clearly showing the condition of the card or product, the application of our tamper-evident security seal, and the sealing of the package with the shipping label visible.
- Incoming returns: The opening of all returned packages is systematically filmed without interruption to verify the integrity of the security seal before any refund is authorised.
This video evidence is retained and may be used in the event of a dispute.
Our Packaging & Protection
Every single card is shipped in a protective top loader secured with our tamper-evident security seal. Graded cards are shipped with additional protective packaging and our tamper-evident security seal. Sealed products (booster boxes, packs) are shipped with our tamper-evident security seal applied. Any return showing signs of tampering (broken seal, replaced card, visible damage not reported within 48h) will be strictly refused.
Refunds
If your return is approved following our verification process, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
